Al Yusr Leasing and Financing has entered into a joint venture agreement with “Texpress”, which is operating consumer goods trade business, aiming to provide consumer finance services to its customers under Murabha program in consumer products sector, including household appliances and electronics.   Under this Agreement, Al Yusr Leasing and Financing affirms important cooperation with different market sectors on offering financing programs, enabling expansion activity, up-levelling sales and developing market performance in electrical and household appliances sector. This is the time to offer such programs to be ready for summer, a season of weddings and demand for electrical and household appliances across different cities of the Kingdom.    Subject to this agreement, Al Yusr applies Murabha financing program as per SAMA’s Regulations for Consumer Financing, in compliance with Islamic Shariah. Through this program, the customer willing to buy his needs will apply for financing purchase of goods. After Al Yusr Leasing and Financing agrees to provide finance service, it will buy the required goods from source and sell them to the customer at an agreed markup. The beneficiary will thereafter repay the financing value in specified installments as agreed between both parties. Texpress shall, under the agreement, provide office spaces for Al Yusr Leasing and Financing staff at its branches across cities of the Kingdom for facilitating the provision of direct finance services to customers, ensuring that they will get the service as soon as possible at the approved terms, which, in turn, will be reflected on increasing turnover and maintaining the customers segment of both parties. The agreement is signed by Jamal Saad Al-Qahtani, Business Executive Director, for Al Yusr Leasing and Financing, and Marie Mosleh Al-Amri, Administrative Director, for Texpress. Al Yusr Leasing and Financing is looking forward, through this agreement, to expand its direct services provided to its customers in consumer financing for individuals through 22 branches across 16 cities, in collaboration with Texpress branches that are spread across different cities of the Kingdom.
